The NAB funding has enabled the Wemindji Telecommunication Society to maintain, preserve and revitalise Cree and Inuktitut language and culture; increase Cree and Inuktitut language content; strengthen Cree cultural identity and foster belonging with the new generations; and increase Cree participation in the Canadian society by diversifying radio content more broadly.
